Leather Three Piece Suite

A leather three piece suite is the best thing you can get as far as sofas and suites go. They are big, beautiful and comfortable. Leather is a great material because it is durable and you will be able to maintain it without any problems. Cleaning is easy and it also gets torn really rarely.

This kind of quality costs though, so a leather corner sofa will cost more than the ones made of more regular materials. But considering it will outlast any of them, your investment is spread to a longer period of time, making it perhaps even cheaper in the long run.

A leather three piece suite can be either placed into your living room, but it is also not too odd to see one in an office. Well, 3 piece suites might not be as common in such places, but now and then you can still catch one there. Regular sofas or corner sofas are more common in offices.

As I already mentioned earlier, one of the perks of having a leather three piece suite is its durability. Leather is a very strong material so it is almost impossible to tear it by regular use. If you have pets, especially cats, that can be a problem, however. Cats love leather and they love to scratch. In such cases you are better off with a cheaper fabric three piece suite, or at least a sofa cover.

In modern residences, sofas are one of the most important pieces of furniture and are needed to complete the grand look of the living room. A sofa is the most versatile and functional furniture you could ever have and since our living standards have evolved along with the development of new technologies, sofa sets now come in a variety of designs, shapes and colors. Among the most popular are the three pieces suites because of its classic appeal and functional designs.  The conventional three pieces suite includes a large sofa that can either be a three or four-seater and two individual chairs.

Three Piece Suite or 3 Piece Suite?

There are many debates going on about the proper name of these suites, but as far as I am concerned they are pointless as long as we know we are talking about suites and sofas. I believe the name is not all that important at all as in the end both terms are pronounced in the same way. As long as we do not confuse them with three piece suits for men we are ok.

A three piece suite describes a furniture set consisting of a two or three-seater couch, in addition of two armchairs. Some other expressions for sets including at least one sofa include: Chesterfield suite, lounge suite, living-room suite and a sofa suite. This is the general description taken from Wikipedia and it is spot on (I even contributed to the description so yes, it surely is spot on).

So this is the basic form of a 3 piece suite. Naturally as it is the case with all other sofas, they come in all kinds of different materials and colours, so each person can find something that goes well with other pieces of furniture in the living room, but also with his/her general taste. The only problem might be the price which can be somewhat steep with some three piece suites.

A leather three piece suite

This is most of all true for a leather three piece suite. Leather suites are the most expensive suite types, so considering a 3 piece suite comes in a rather large set, the price is that much higher. But in the end you don’t just have a regular sofa. You have an elegant, luxurious set which is also very durable so sometimes it is worth it to overpay a bit. All in all you can expect to own a three piece suite for many years if the quality of the bought suite is solid enough.

There are other materials as well, leather is not all that the market has to offer. Some people rather go with a fabric 3 piece suite because they do not like the generally colder feel of leather and therefore choose some warmer type of fabric.

But no matter which material you end up choosing you can be sure there are hundreds of different styles to choose from, not to mention the entire colour spectrum. In the end your biggest problem might just be choosing the three piece suite that will suit you most, as the selection is simply enormous. Just make sure you buy a quality product that will last for years to come. As they say – you are not rich enough to buy cheap – this goes for all things you buy, not only furniture.
